A Guy Named Rod and Being A Part of What God is Doing

Tonight, I will a part of the ordination of a friend, Rod Kesselring. Rod is the associate pastor of The Journey Church in Rochester, NH.

I’ve known Rod for a couple of years now and I love the ministry he and the lead pastor, Rob Willis, are doing in Rochester. Jesus is really rocking the place. This Easter, they had over 400 people attend and heard the gospel and entered The Way!

imageRod is a fellow geek who plays with audio, video, graphics, websites and other fun computer things.

A bunch of other preacher/bloggers will be there (Ignite, Engineering) and its always good to see those guys.

I’ve been invited to share a brief overview of the reasons we ordain pastor-elders so I’ve been prepping some thoughts on the subject. I’ve attached a copy of my comments.
