Bye Bye POD…

Yesterday, I did the unthinkable – I sold my POD X3 Live. Now let me just say that the X3 Live is a phenomenal piece of equipment for a guitarist. It had so many bells and whistles that it took me nearly three months to even figure out how to get the thing to work!

But alas, it was too much for me. I could not justify sitting on this valuable piece of equipment when I had other things I could do with the money, so I sold it.

By a happy accident (or perhaps a divine moment), someone posted a POD 2.0 on craig’s list on the same day I sold my POD X3. Better than that, the 2.0 was only $75.

So, yesterday after church I packed the X3 Live up in its box (I keep all the packaging for electronics equipment) and took it to its new home. Then, I drove down to Nashua and picked up my new used 2.0.

They are very different pieces of equipment. The X3 Live is to the 2.0 what a Mercedes is to a Honda, but I’m a Honda/Toyota kind of guy.
